Euro falls

LONDON, May 12: The dollar advanced against other major currencies on Monday as the market awaited a raft of economic data this week for fresh leads clues on the extent of the US economic slowdown, dealers said.

In European trading, the euro dropped to $1.5435 from 1.5481 in New York late on Friday.

The dollar rose to 103.83 yen from 102.82 yen.—AFP
