SWABI: Transporters threaten wheel-jam

SWABI, May 15: Various transporters’ bodies have threatened to go on a wheel-jam strike if their demands regarding abolition of tool tax plazas across the country were not met.

Haji Noor Muhammad, provincial president of the All Sarhad Goods and Adda Federation (ASGAF), Muhammad Ayub, district president of the Swabi Truck Owners Association (STOA) and Haji Fazal Anwar, president of the Gadoon Transport Union (GTU), made the threat while addressing a joint press conference here on Thursday. — Correspondent
