THATTA: Coalition bound to collapse: Mumtaz

THATTA, June 29: Chairman Sindh National Front Mumtaz Ali Bhutto has said that the rulers are not sincere about reinstatement of the deposed judges and are working on an agenda prepared by their American masters.

Addressing SNF workers’ convention at press club here on Sunday, Mr Bhutto said that President Pervez Musharraf and Asif Ali Zardari were two sides of the same coin and the PPP would betray the PML-N under the US agenda.

Mr Bhutto was critical of Asif Zardari and said and the government would not complete its tenure and the political coalition was bound to end very soon. He said law and order situation was going to worsen and politically the country was crawling towards point of no return.

He said if PPP was really sincere in the restoration of judges, it would have done so immediately after their release from detention.

He suggested that in order to save the country from any disaster, it was better to get ideas and formulate strategies after consulting experts from within and out side the country.

Accusing the media for brining PPP into power through what he called exaggerated propaganda and making the entire nation sentimental, the SNF chairman suggested that media should adopt a correct and realistic approach and present true picture to the nation.

He said he had no personal grudge with the assassinated leader Benazir Bhutto and had only political differences with her.

He said things had gone to an extent that the terrorists were now targeting Peshawar.

He said the lack of true leadership in the Pakistan People’s Party and misdeeds of Mr Zardari would ultimately damage the party as its popularity graph had started to decline.
