NAWABSHAH: Emergency landing

NAWABSHAH, June 29: An international flight of PIA made an emergency landing at the Nawabshah airport on Sunday due to bad weather in Lahore.

The flight, PK-760, coming from Jeddah landed at the Nawabshah airport at 11.15am. It left for Lahore at 3.16pm.

The flight was carrying 382 passengers, including Attorney-General Malik Mohammad Qayyum.

TEACHERS’APPOINTMENT: Candidates for posts of primary, junior and high schoolteachers, who had passed their test for the job, staged a protest outside the press club here on Sunday. They were demanding issuance of appointment orders.

They told reporters that they had passed tests conducted by IBA for the posts of PST, JST and HST.

They demanded of the Sindh chief minister and education minister to order officials concerned to issue appointment orders to them.
