KHAR: Jaish vows to continue war against US

KHAR, July 2: The Jaishul Islami Pakistan, Bajaur Agency, has said that ‘jihad’ would continue against US-led foreign forces in Afghanistan till their ouster from the country.Addressing a press conference from an undisclosed location on Wednesday, Jaish commander in Bajaur Waliur Rehman said that American spies in the tribal belt of Pakistan would be awarded exemplary punishment. He was referring to the public execution of two alleged spies in Bajaur tribal region on Friday last.

Rehman said that the holy war would continue against the foreign forces in Afghanistan. “The major objective of Jaish is to fight against the US-led foreign occupation forces in Afghanistan.

The jihad against America would continue till the allied forces were defeated on the Afghan soil,” he said.

He said that America was the worst terrorist country of the world, which had adopted inhuman and cruel policies towards Muslims. “All Muslims in the world were facing terrorism due to these cruel policies,” he said, adding that the US was the biggest enemy of Pakistan and its people.

He said that the law and order situation in Pakistan, particularly in the tribal areas, had deteriorated due to the flawed and cowardly policies of Musharraf regime. The tribal population was not even safe in their homes due to the wrong policies of Musharraf and they faced the worst kind of terrorism, he added.

About the execution of two suspected men in Bajaur last week, he said that they were awarded punishment according to Sharia laws. “We have not committed any violation of human rights as the two men were spies and many lives had been lost due to their act,” he said.

Later, he handed over a 12-year-old Mohammad Tahir, son of an alleged Afghan spy Jan Wali, to his family.
