10 injured

SHIKARPUR, July 2: Ten people were injured in a clash between two groups of Brohi tribe at Naushahro Abro, in the jurisdiction of Garhi Yasin police station on Wednesday.

Axes and clubs were used in the clash.

The injured were identified as Dil Jan, Abdul Hakeem, Abdul Jabbar, Basheer Ahmed, Mohammad Qudoos, Mir Mohammad, Allah Bux, Haji Abdul Ghaffar, Khuda Bux and Haji Nabi Bux. They were shifted to Garhi Yasin Hospital.

The cause of the clash is said to be an ongoing dispute over the possession of agricultural land.
