Murder case against jail official and MO

KASUR, July 10: The B-Division police registered a murder case against the jail superintendent, a medical officer and two influential convicts on Thursday.

Reports said that Muhammad Jameel had been in jail for the last five years on the charge of trying to murder another Muhammad Jameel of Kasur.

On June 6, Faqir Hussain, father of victim Jameel, learned that his son was poisoned to death by influential captives, Ahmad and Riaz, allegedly with the connivance of jail superintendent Saleem Butt and MO Dr Arshad Virk.

On the report of Faqir Hussain, the police registered a case against the accused.
