QUETTA, July 12: Governor of Balochistan and Chancellor of the province’s government universities Nawab Zulfiqar Ali Magsi has appointed Dr Masoom Khan Yasinzai as acting vice-chancellor of the Balochistan University.

According to official sources, the notification was issued on Saturday and Dr Yasinzai was posted as acting vice-chancellor of the institution following the assassination of Vice-Chancellor Dr Safdar Ali Kiyani in May.
