Hazaras want action against ATF, police officials

QUETTA, July 21: The Hazara community will hold a protest meeting on Tuesday against the killing of four people in Hazara town.

The Hazara Democratic Party and the Tehrik-i-Jafaria Alliance separately condemned actions of Anti-Terrorist Force and police and urged the government to take punish officials responsible for the firing.

Provincial minister Jan Ali Chengazi had demanded of the government to exclude ATF officials from the inquiry committee, which was formed by the chief minister to probe the incident.

Chief of the Tehrik-i-Jafaria Alliance Allama Masood Domki warned the government that if action against the guilty officials was not taken, they would launch a protest movement against injustices. Allama Domki urged the government to free people of the Hazara community.
