Five Taliban killed

PESHAWAR, July 21: At least five Taliban were killed in Jinnah Khwar village, some 70 kilometres from Nowshera city, in the FR Peshawar area on Monday.

Official sources said a group of armed Taliban visited the house of a villager, Daud Khan, son of Lal Shah, whom they suspected of giving out loans on interest. They warned him to stop his ‘un-Islamic’ business or face consequences.—Bureau
