Motorbike bomb kills four in Sibi

QUETTA, Aug 6: Four people were killed and four others were injured when a bomb strapped to a motorcycle exploded in Sibi on Wednesday morning.

Police officials said the motorcycle had been parked outside a restaurant on the Majid Road. The bomb was detonated with a remote-control. All the victims were having tea when the bomb exploded.

The deceased were identified as Miya Khan, Mohammad Yousuf, Wazir Khan and Mehran Khan. The injured, Ata Mohammad Tahir Shezad, Ghulam Mohammad and Faisal, were admitted to the Civil Hospital in Sibi.

In a separate incident, a man on a motorcycle hurled a hand-grenade at a stall in Quetta. A vendor was injured.
