India’s top cueist Yasin dismisses security talk

KARACHI, Aug 22: Indian snooker celebrity Yasin Merchant said on Friday said it loud and clear that security has not been a cause of concern for him and his team.

“This is my home and there’s no security issue for me and my team,” he told a gathering at the Karachi Club amid applause from the fraternity of the game.

Yasin, a regular visitor to the city and a household name in the game, highly commended the hospitality extended to the Indian team by the Pakistan Billiards and Snooker Association (PBSA) and the Karachi Club during their stay in the metropolis for Pentangular 6-Red snooker spectacle.

Yasin said he look forward to coming to Pakistan again in future. He had a word of praise for ACBS president Sindhu for initiating the idea of 6-Red contest along with PBSA president Ashar Valika.
