KARACHI, Aug 23: Three ships carrying containers and to load clinker are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Sunday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was modest where four ships, Oel Ability to unload and load containers, Islamabad to offload and load general cargo and Sunrise Acacia and Oram Blossom, both tankers, were berthed after the departure of three.

The departing ships were led by Cosco Dammam, Calvin P. Titus and Rhoneborg, while Oel Ability, Jin Pu, Ocaia, Oel Transworld, St. Jaames Park, Jakarta Express and Pacific Turquoise are due to sail out on Sunday.

A total tonnage of 125,000 tons comprising 26,819 tons of export cargo and 98,422 tons of import tonnage was handled on Saturday.

The following ships are due on Sunday: Wan Hai-301 and Hyundai Admiral with containers and Noor-e-Madina to load clinker.

The following vessels are due on Monday: Lalazar with crude oil, Hanjin Qingdao, Mol Admiration, Kapitan Bayankin and Caoe Ferrol with containers.
