HYDERABAD: Fleeing suspect arrested

HYDERABAD, Aug 29: An alleged drug peddler who fled from the Market police station on Friday was rearrested later in the day from the Ghaushala area.

Shahid was arrested for possessing 75 grams of narcotics by the operation wing of the Market police and was booked accordingly.

ASI Hassan Rajput of the investigation wing took him upstairs in the police station for investigation. He was escorted by a police constable. The accused, who was handcuffed, managed to escape from there.

However he was re-arrested from Ghaushala area in the evening.
