MINGORA: Medicines sent to hospital

MINGORA, Oct 4: Pakistan Army handed over a consignment of medicines to Dr Mohammad Khan, the medical superintendent of Saidu Sharif Hospital for the treatment of gastroenteritis.

A press release issued here on Saturday said that the medicines were provided after the outbreak of the disease in the area.

It said that doctors urged the people to boil water before drinking, adding that food prepared under unhygienic conditions in the bazaars must be avoided. The sample of water has also been sent to laboratory for testing, it added.—Correspondent
