Birds released

MULTAN, Oct 15: The Wildlife department has released 1400 birds into their natural habitat near the river Chenab as part of its efforts to save the environment and keep the eco system intact.

The birds, including different species of parrots and quail, were recovered from poachers in 50 raids conducted during the last one month, and all were released into the air from the cages in the presence of a court official.—APP
