ANKARA: Turkish police have seized 335 kilos of western Europe-bound heroin stashed in a truck in the eastern town of Bitlis, the Anatolia press agency reported on Sunday.

Police found the narcotics after having stopped and searched the truck on a highway linking the Kurd-dominated city of Diyarbakir to Bitlis, the agency reported, adding police said the heroin was bound for western Europe.
