SUKKUR: Occupation of school playground slammed

SUKKUR, Nov 4: Occupation of playground in the Government Girls Primary School, Lal Mashaikh, by the members of land mafia has deprived the girl students of sports activities and caused loss of millions of rupees to the provincial exchequer.

Leaders of Site Area Welfare Association, Mohammad Bux Deho, Abdul Qayoom Deho, Hafiz Mehmood Deho and others, alleged that members of the land mafia, after illegally occupying school’s playground and other plots of the village, have started construction work over it with the support of mukhtiarkar of new taluka Sukkur who according to them, had received illegal gratification.

They said that despite several complaints to the concerned authorities nothing could emerge.

They demanded of the authorities to take notice and clear the school’s playground from illegal occupation of land mafia and the builders.

ROADS: Military road and Shikarpur road connecting the airport road of Sukkur were in a dilapidated condition due to negligence of the officials of talk Sukkur City and New Taluka Sukkur.
