Dwyer likely to quit after Abu Dhabi ODIs

LAHORE, Nov 11: Pakistan team trainer David Dwyer is likely to quit his assignment after the three One-day match series against West Indies due to start in Abu Dhabi from Wednesday.

Sources said the trainer had asked the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to change his job designation to that of consultant for which he would be visiting Pakistan from time to time.

However, sources said the PCB is not ready to accept his demand, so Dwyer is most likely to return to Australia from Abu Dhabi.

Earlier, Pakistan coach Geoff Lawson, who had picked Dwyer, had left the job after new chairman Ijaz Butt took charge of the PCB.
