ISLAMABAD, Dec 6: Javed Miandad, Director General of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), will visit China soon as Pakistan’s cricket ambassador to that country.

This was decided recently at a meeting held as a follow-up to the President Asif Ali Zardari’s visit to China, said a spokesman of the Ministry of Sports while announcing Miandad’s trip to China.

President Zardari had observed during the meeting: “We need to support China in the development of cricket. We can send a cricket ambassador to China.”—APP
