JSQM leader calls for unity
HYDERABAD, Dec 16: Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz general secretary Dr Safdar Sarki has said that resources of Sindh has been plundered during the last 60 years and Sindh is passing through a very difficult phase.
He called upon the Sindhi people to unite on one platform to combat the prevailing situation. He was speaking at a public meeting in Tando Mohammad Khan on Tuesday.
He said his party was struggling to unite the Sindhi people and added that imprisonment or arrests could not break the spirit of the party activists. He said a large number of political activists were made to disappear and Sindh was being divided through tribal disputes.
While lauding the role of media for highlighting the problems of the Sindhi people, he said his party would continue struggle against anti-Sindh water projects.
The PPP government has greatly disappointed the Sindhi people, Dr Sarki said and added that hunger and unemployment had greatly increased during the present regime. Earlier, he hoisted party flag at the party office.
Dr Sarki also addressed a press conference at the Tando Allahyar press club.
