Anti-Narcotics Force gets Canadian help

QUETTA, Dec 23: The Canadian High Commission has provided vehicles, generators and stabilisers to Balochistan’s Anti-Narcotics Force for improving its capability to curb drug trafficking.

At a ceremony on Tuesday, the high commission’s deputy head Nicholas Coghlan handed over five double-cabin pick-ups, five 5.5KVA generators and seven 10KVA stabilisers to Brig Saleem Mehmood, the regional director of ANF, Balochistan. Andre Heinrichs, the law-enforcement adviser of the United Nations office on drugs and crimes in Pakistan, attended the ceremony.—Amanullah Kasi
