FAISALABAD, Jan 10: Three persons were gunned down over a tubewell dispute in Sattiana, some 30km from here, on Saturday.

Faqir Anwar and Rana Hanif had a dispute over the installation of a tubewell in Chak 40-GB, Sattiana.

On Saturday, the two parties exchanged hot words over the issue that led to a scuffle. Infuriated Hanif and his three sons opened indiscriminate fire and killed Anwar, his nephew, Ashraf, and an employee, Shaukat.

Police have arrested Hanif and his son, Falak Sher.
