Partial strike in Quetta against policemen’s murder

QUETTA, Jan 15: A strike was observed in some parts of Quetta on Thursday in protest against the murder of DSP Agha Hasan Ali and three other policemen in an attack in the city on Wednesday.

Shops on the Alamdar road, Marriabad, Toghi road, Nachari road, Sattar road and Hazara town remained closed in response to a call by the Hazara Democratic Party.

Fateha khwani was held at the Nachari Imambargah for the slain police personnel.

Elders of the Hazara tribe criticised the government for failing to provide protection to their community.

They called for immediate arrest of those behind the killing.
