LARKANA, Feb 14: Police arrested four dacoits, said District Police Officer Qambar-Shahdadkot Abdul Hameed Khoso at a press conference on Saturday.

He told journalists that police parties were deployed on different routes leading to Qambar town on sensing suspicion.

Police intercepted a motorcyclist on Dost Ali road in the jurisdiction of Drigh police station and after a brief encounter arrested Rabban alias Raboo Chandio and Zulfikar Deprani wanted in 16 cases of police encounters, robberies and murders, said the DPO.

Agha Khan Chandio and Muhbat Soomro nominated in over 16 crime cases were also arrested from the Qambar by-pass during snap checking. Three Kalashnikovs, one 222-rifle, one kilogram charas and a stolen motorcycle were recovered, he said adding that the crackdown would continue.
