KARACHI, Feb 18: Seven ships carrying chemicals and containers are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Thursday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was maintained on the higher side where eight ships were berthed. They are: Northern Harmony, Isara Bhum, Hanjin, H&H Tide, and Hanjin Port Adelaide, to unload and load containers, Chemroad Rose, and Oriental Bouguet, both oil tanker, and Limnos, with general cargo.

Sailing was also active as the same number of vessels departed, including Mol Ability, Aqua Marine-1, Lady Mega, Al-Jabber, Atlantice Express, Isara Bhum, Gulf Tiger, and Hyundai Qingdao, departed on Wednesday.

Swat, Breeze, H&H. Tide, APL Yokohama, Caribbean Carrier and Chemroad Rose are due to sail out on Thursday after loading export cargoes.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was maintained on the higher side where a total tonnage of 0.186m tons comprising 48,523 tons of export cargo and 0.137m tons of import cargo was handled on Wednesday.

The following ships are due on Thursday: Rising Phoenix, with mogas, Ginga Cheetah, with chemicals, Hyundai Admiral, Bunga Bidara, Kota Lambang, Al-Manakh, and PAC Antila, with containers.
