THATTA: Kidnapped teenagers released

THATTA, Jan 27: Two teenaged cousins, who were kidnapped by some criminals from Bannu some 46 days back, returned home on Monday after being released by their kidnappers.

Sarfaraz Memon, 18, and Ghazanfar Memon, 14, who appeared to be shattered, said that they had been kept in a huge cave near the Khadi forest and finally abandoned at the flood protective embankment not far from there.

They said that the kidnappers told them that they were letting them go because of police pressure on their relatives, and threatened to again kidnap them if their relatives were not released in two days.

The Mirpur Bathoro SHO claimed that operations in the Khadi, Jurar and Molchand forests had yielded the results.
