RAWALPINDI: PBM releases 7th instalment for deserving

RAWALPINDI, Feb 8: Pakistan Baitul Mal (PBM) has released Rs31.4 million to post offices in Rawalpindi region for disbursement among the deserving. This is the 7th installment which will be distributed among 26,000 people under the Food Support Programme. Those registered with the PBM will get Rs1,200 each. The deserving are being provided with Rs200 more compared to the previous installment.

The payment process will start on Monday and will be completed by February 15. Chief postmaster, Rawalpindi region, has advised the deserving people to approach the post offices concerned to receive their share. Payments will be made on the production of FSP pass and national identity card.

Meanwhile, those who have not collected the 6th installment will be paid both the instalments in lump sum, the postmaster said. Any person facing a problem in getting the payment can contact the Baitul Mal branch on the GPO premises, he added.

According to the postmaster, those people whose assistance had been stopped due to some reason could apply again through the District Food Support Programme Steering Committee.
