NAWABSHAH, Feb 16: A man, Jaroo Marri, has said that lives of his newly married son Masoom and daughter-in-law Rukhsana are in danger. In a telegram to the Sindh home secretary, IGP and DIG, DPO and the district and sessions judge, Nawabshah, he demanded that his daughter-in-law Rukhsana should be sent to Darul Aman and son be provided security.

He feared that they might be killed by relatives of Rukhsana Marri on the pretext of honour. The couple is in the Sixty Miles police custody.

NAZIM: Taluka Nazim Ali Akbar Jamali on Monday condemned the Hesco action of disconnecting the power supply to municipal bodies.

Talking to this correspondent, he said the taluka municipal administration had paid dues of Rs12.5 million to Hesco but its chief denied the payment of amount. He demanded that Hesco should restore power supply to the municipal bodies to save the city from hazards of refuse.
