F-7 fighter crashes near Jhang

ISLAMABAD, April 8: A Pakistan Air Force F-7 fighter aircraft on a routine operational training mission, crashed 30km west of Jhang, a PAF press release said. "The crash apparently occurred due to technical malfunction.

The pilot of the aircraft Flight Lieutenant Imran Tariq was fatally injured," it added. No loss of civilian life and property occurred on ground. A board of inquiry has been ordered. -APP
