ABBOTTABAD: Abbottabad SSC results declared

ABBOTTABAD, June 17: Students of the Pakistan Scouts Cadet College Batrasi secured 10 positions in the Secondary School Certificate examination of the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Abbottabad.

According to the results announced by the Controller of Examination, Mohammad Sajjad Khan, at the Abbottabad Press Club on Thursday, a total of 32,833 students appeared in the examination, out of whom 18,648 were declared successful.

The overall percentage of the results remained 56.8 per cent. In Science Group, 13,535 students appeared out of whom 9,962 were declared successful, while in the Humanities Group 19,298 students appeared out of whom 8,686 were declared successful.

Hafiz Kamran Asghar of the Pakistan Scouts Cadet College Batrasi topped the list of successful candidates by securing 777 marks, followed by Atif Nawaz of the same college with 756 marks.

Among the girls, Aneesa Fatima of Oxford Public School, Behr Kund, Mansehra, got first position with 735 marks, followed by Uzma Saeed of Pakistan International Public School and College, Abbottabad, with 733 marks, while the third position went to three students, Serish Idrees, Ghania Raza and Amtul Saboor with 731 marks.

In the Humanities Group, Sumera Dastan of Rehman Model School, Khawjagan, Mansehra, secured First Position with 660 marks, followed by Maria Siddique of Government GHS, Bher Kund, Mansehra, with 652 marks and Nageena Bibi of GGHS No 2, Mansehra, with 630 marks.
