DADU: Heavy rain in parts of Dadu

DADU, July 7: The western part of Dadu district along the Khirthar range received heavy rain on Tuesday night. Water level at Nai Gaj rose to 8-feet on Wednesday. Meanwhile, irrigation officials claimed that the flood protective bunds were safe and staff was deployed at different points of bunds.

KIDNAPPED: A girl was kidnapped in Mureed Babar village, Johi taluka on Tuesday night. Five armed men barged into the house of Muhammad Hussain Babar and kidnapped Ms Basheeran 18, at gunpoint. The Khairpur Nathan Shah police have registered an FIR against five armed men Ashiq, Shahid, Zakir Hussain, Ali Sher and Haji Hassan Babar.

ELECTROCUTED: A minor girl Arbab, daughter of Shamsuddin, was electrocuted in Johi town on Tuesday night when she touched a live wire in her house.
