SARGODHA: Four arrested with 3kgs of heroin

SARGODHA, July 26: Four members of a gang of heroin smugglers headed by a woman were arrested by the Sahiwal police and recovered three kilograms of heroin from the secret pouches of a car on Sunday.

A Sahiwal police team stopped a car on suspicion. The car riders were identified as Nasim, Mushtaq, Parveen and Khalida. On checking the car, the police team found heroin from its secret chambers.

The ring leader, Khalida, told police that they had been supplying heroin to 10 districts in the Punjab since long. They were residents of Deena, Jhelum, and were going to Jhang for delivery of a consignment. They received supply from Peshawar.
