KHAIRPUR: One killed in tribal feud

KHAIRPUR, Sept 29: Another person was killed in the ongoing clash between two groups of Solangi and Jagirani tribes in the Kigri taluka on Wednesday. Dargahi Khan Jagirani was grazing cattle near the Abul Wah when some persons shot him dead.

The death toll in the clash has risen to 16. Meanwhile, Majid Hussain Solangi lodged a case with the Ahmadpur police against 60 Jagirani tribesmen for snatching two wagons on Wednesday.

The complainant stated that the accused, including Abdul Sattar, Aijaz, Parvez, Ghulam Sarwar, Ali Hassan, Kehar Khan, Ali Haider, Mehmood, Rahim Dino, Darya Khan and Dilshad, had snatched two wagons (R-0303 and R-0527) on the Pir Jo Goth-Sukkur road.

An injured police constable, Nawabuddin Khokhar, lodged an FIR against 20 Jagirani tribesmen, including Waheed and Noor Ahmad, at the Gambat police station on Wednesday. He said he was on duty at the Mujahid police picket when the accused opened fire on the Mujahid village in which he was injured.
