SHEIKHUPURA: Case against policeman for misbehaving with colleague

SHEIKHUPURA, Oct 15: A-division police on Friday registered a case against a constable for misbehaving with a woman colleague while drunk. ASI Shazia, who is posted at A-division police station, came to stadium for shopping along with her husband.

Constable Suhail of the same police station, who was allegedly drunk, caught her by arm and dragged her. When her husband came to her rescue, the constable abused him. The ASI approached DPO Shahid Iqbal who ordered registration of a case.

ROBBERY: Five masked gunmen took away Rs99,000 in cash from the salesman of a filling station located on Lahore-Sargodha road, some 30 kilometres from here, on Friday.

In another incident, six robbery entered the house of Liaquat Ali in Chak Satehian and took away cash and other valuables worth thousands of rupees by holding the family at gunpoint.
