SHEIKHUPURA: Two burnt alive in road accident

SHEIKHUPURA, Jan 17: Two men were burnt alive while another was injured in an accident on motorway near Kot Ranjeet interchange on Saturday.

Reports said Shahzad, Sheharyar and Ikram were going to Lahore from Faisalabad in a car through motorway. The speeding car collided with the iron fence installed along the motorway near Kot Ranjeet interchange and caught fire.

As a result, Sheharyar and Shahzad burnt alive while Ikram got burns. His condition was stated to serious at hospital.

STRIKE: Members of the Sheikhupura Bar Association observed impartial strike on Saturday to demand arrest of the killers of a lawyer.

Advocate Zakar Iqbal was shot dead by three unidentified men at his house at Dera Sianwala near Kot Salim on Friday night.

Family said that Zakar had no enmity.

Sheikhupura DBA president Mazhar Iqbal Sidhu and General Secretary Rana Tanveer Nasir in a joint statement urged the administration to arrest the killers of the lawyer at the earliest.
