SUKKUR: Education schemes

SUKKUR, July 17: The Sindh government has allocated Rs32.306 million for five ongoing development schemes of the education sector. This was stated in an official press statement issued here on Saturday.

An amount of Rs10.316 million will be spent on upgradation of middle schools to high schools, Rs3.682 million on upgradation of a high school to a higher secondary school in Salehpat, Rs9.099 million on construction of additional class rooms in secondary schools, Rs4.108 million on upgradation of a high school to a higher secondary school in Kandhra, Rohri taluka, and Rs5.101 on construction of a working women's hostel in Sukkur.

Besides, Rs32.583 million has been allocated for establishment of a physical education college with hostel facility and an ongoing scheme of the Pano Aqil Cadet College.
