DERA GHAZI KHAN: Private students among toppers

DERA GHAZI KHAN, Aug 7: Among the top three positions, two were captured by students of private institutions in the intermediate annual examination, 2004.

Around 16,942 candidates appeared in the examination and 8,879 were declared successful with a pass percentage of 52.41.

Ishfaq Hussain (Roll No 18016) and Abdul Raheem (18042) of Superior Science Higher Secondary School, Muzaffargarh, got first and third positions with 982 and 963 marks, respectively. While the second position was obtained by Farrukh Abbas (21491) of Government Higher Secondary School, Dajil tehsil, Jampur district, Rajanpur, by getting 977 marks.

Pre-Medical (Boys): Farrukh Abbas of Government Higher Secondary School, Dajil, stood first with 977 marks while Muhammad Sajid Sohail (20649) of LICCS Science, Layyah, and Muhammad Yasir Rasool (21232) of Superior Science School, Muzaffargarh, bagged second and third positions by obtaining 938 and 932 marks, respectively.

Pre-Medical (Girls): Wajeeha Nusrat (19524) of Divisional Public School & College, Dera Ghazi Khan, bagged first position by getting 958 marks while Asiya Nawaz Alvi (19835) of Government College for Women, Alipur, Muzaffargarh district, and Samreen Anjum (19896) of Government College for Women, Kot Addu, got second and third positions by taking 952 and 951 marks, respectively.

Pre-Engineering (Boys): Ishfaq Hussain (18016) and Salman Javed (18042) of Superior Science Higher Secondary School, Muzaffargarh, captured first and second positions by obtaining 982 and 963 marks, respectively, while Muhammad Rizwan Bashir (17866) of Sardar Kauray Khan Public Higher Secondary School, Muzaffargarh, stood third with 948 marks.

Pre-Engineering (Girls): Sara Ahmed Hashmi (17102) of Government College for Women Alipur, Muzaffargarh district, secured first position by getting 917 marks while Irum Gul Bashir (17034) of PAEC Inter Science College, Dera Ghazi Khan, and Nadia Iqbal (17028) of Garrison Higher Secondary School, Dera Ghazi Khan, got second and third positions by clinching 901 and 900 marks, respectively.

Humanities (Boys): Allah Wasaya (27195) of Government Higher Secondary School, Rohillanwali, Muzaffargarh, captured first position with 810 marks while Muhammad Adnan (27572) of Government Higher Secondary School, Kot Mithan, Rajanpur district, and Muhammad Imtiaz (27064) of Government College, Muzaffargarh, stood second and third with 783 and 782 marks, respectively.

Humanities (Girls): Samra Kanwal (27710) of Muzaffargarh bagged first position by getting 843 marks while Syeda Zubabul Aen Aeni Bokhari (25464) of Government College for Women, Rajanpur, and Mamona Tehseen (24751) of Government College for Women, Kot Addu, Muzaffargarh, secured second and third positions by taking 829 and 823 marks, respectively.

General Science: Ramsha Rizwan (34834) of Layyah Public Higher Secondary School, Layyah, stood first with 909 marks while Ali Usman (35052) of Divisional Public School, Dera Ghazi Khan, and Hina Razzaq (34833) of Layyah Public Higher Secondary School, Layyah, got second and third positions by securing 905 and 885 marks, respectively.
