FAISALABAD: Rapist-killer posts 'confession' letter

FAISALABAD, Oct 16: The murder of a minor girl after rape and dropping of 'confessional statement' by the alleged unidentified rapist spread panic in a village of Thikriwala on Saturday.

Seven-year-old 'S' of Chak 67 JB went missing on Friday night. Her family tried to find her but failed.

On Saturday morning, the family found a letter hanging on the gate of their house containing a confessional statement from the rapist-cum-killer.

He claimed that he killed the girl after raping her and if her parents tried to trace him, the mother of the girl would also face the same music. He also indicated the site where he had dropped the body.

The area people immediately rushed to the scene and recovered the body. Police were called which started investigation. No clue to the killer has so far been traced.

When contacted, Thikriwala police station SHO said they had found a clue and the killer would be arrested soon.
