ISLAMABAD, Feb 28: President Gen Pervez Musharraf will not benefit from the increase in the salary of the president since he draws salary of the Chief of the Army Staff.

The official sources said this on Thursday, referring to the increase in president’s salary as promulgated through an ordinance on Wednesday.

“The President is drawing the salary of Chief of the Army Staff only. Hence, the increase in the salary of the president will not be of any benefit to him,” they added.—APP
