Multan bar elections

MULTAN, March 28 Qamar Zaman Butt has been elected as president of the Lahore High Court Bar Association (LHCBA), Multan bench, by securing 1,392 votes.

According to unofficial results, he defeated former president Mehmood Ashraf Khan who bagged 1,382 votes.

Mehr Zamir Sundhal (senior vice president), Syed Jafar Tayar (general secretary), Farah Deeba (vice president) and Muhammad Usman Bhatti (joint secretary) are the other winners.—APP
