India win
LONDON, June 29: India beat England by six wickets in the second Tri-Nations one-day international on Saturday after a sparkling 71 from young batsman Virender Sehwag and a fine 131 partnership between Rahul Dravid (73 not out) and Yuvraj Singh (64 not out).
Dravid hit the winning run off a no-ball after a gripping finish.
England scored 271 for seven in their innings with a punchy 86 off 78 balls from Marcus Trescothick getting them away to a fine start after Nasser Hussain won the toss and chose to bat.
India lost Sachin Tendulkar and Dinesh Mongia for one run each but Dravid and Yuvraj steadied their innings and then passed England’s total with seven balls to spare.—Reuters
