ISLAMABAD, April 23 Justice Javed Iqbal took oath as the acting chief justice of Pakistan here on Thursday.

Justice Sardar Mohammad Raza Khan administered oath to Justice Iqbal in a ceremony which was attended by the judges of the apex court, Federal Law Secretary Agha Rafiq, Election Commission of Pakistan Secretary Kanwar Dilshad, Federal Judicial Academy director-general, officers of the Law and Justice Commission of Pakistan and lawyers.
