SWABI: ANP MPs asked to resign

SWABI, April 27 The Awami National Party (ANP) workers have asked the local MPs to resign from party for `failing` to come up to the expectations of voters.

At a meeting held here on Monday the party workers resented what they termed continued negligence of the issues facing the people by two MPAs and one MNA from Swabi.

Sources said that the angry workers considered that the best option for MNA Pervez Khan, MPA Sikandar Irfan, president of the party from PF-35 constituency, Javid Zaman Tahirkheli and general secretary Pazeer Mohammad, was to tender their resignations or they would be thrown out by force of vote. —Correspondent
