Four dacoits arrested

ABBOTTABAD, July 19: The police busted a gang of Afghan dacoits and recovered stolen goods worth millions of rupees.

At a press conference on Friday, Cantt Police Deputy Superintendent Mumtaz Zareen said Saidur Rehman, Gul Nawaz, Baseer and Dilawar were arrested from Nawansher after rise in theft cases in the city.

The accused admitted to have committed theft and dacoity.  

The police recovered televisions, video cassette recorders, watches,  blankets and cash from a house at Nawnsher.—Correspondent
