QUETTA, Sept 23 Security officials at the Pakistan-Afghanistan border near Chaman arrested a suspect and seized 16 AK-47 rifles found in his possession.

Sources said that Frontier Corps personnel found the rifles in a vehicle coming from Afghanistan. A security official claimed that the suspect wanted to smuggle the rifles to Pakistan for use in terrorist activities.
