PPP protests against Musharraf today

LAHORE, Nov 13 The Pakistan People's Party (PPP) will stage demonstrations at district headquarters throughout Punjab on Saturday (today) to condemn former president Pervez Musharraf's remarks against President Asif Zardari.

Announcing this in a statement issued here on Friday, Punjab PPP information-secretary Iqbal Sialvi said provincial president Rana Aftab had issued instructions to party officials to make arrangements for the demonstrations.

Meanwhile, the executive committee of the Lahore PPP adopted a resolution condemning General Musharraf for issuing indecent remarks about President Zardari. The executive committee decided to hold a demonstration against the former general in front of the Lahore Press Club on Saturday afternoon.
