CHENNAI, Jan 26 Women's boxing will make its Asian Games debut in Guangzhou, China this year, the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) said on its website.

“The Asian Boxing Confederation proposed the inclusion of women's boxing in the 2010 Asian Games... in hopes of raising the level of women's boxing in Asia,” said a statement on the OCA website (ocasia.org).—Reuters
