QUETTA, April 11 Three people, a police officer among them, were injured seriously when they came under fire in Satellite Town area here on Sunday.

Sources said that Assistant Sub-Inspector Abdul Majeed was passing through the area with two other people when men on a motorcycle opened fire. The assailants managed to escape. The police took the injured, identified as ASI Majeed, Sher Mohammad and Jalil Ahmed, to hospital.—Staff Correspondent
