PPP, PML-N close to a deal in DG Khan

DERA GHAZI KHAN, Aug 19: PPP and PML-N discussed adjustment for seven provincial and three national assembly seats of the district here on Sunday night. They will meet again on 21st.

On Sunday night, PPP divisional coordinator Qayyum Jatoi held talks with PML-N provincial president and former governor Zulfiqar Ali Khan Khosa. They were assisted by Khwaja Jamal Asghar, Khwaja Mudasar, Saifuddin Khan Khosa.

PPP’s Khwaja Mudasar told Dawn that they had decided to make seat to seat adjustment with the PML-N against ‘King’s party’ candidates.

He said though there were some differences over some seats but they would be settled during the next meeting. The PPP reportedly demanded NA-171, PPP-240, PP-241 and PP-242 while Khosa was reluctant to surrender the last two seats, PP-242 and PP-244.
